Where I Stand

How I Would Serve as Your Trustee

Clear positions. Thoughtful decisions. A commitment to all of Keller ISD.

For 35 years, my work in public education centered on students, the people who teach them and the families who trust us with their education.

As a Keller ISD trustee, I would bring that experience to the decisions before the Board. My responsibility would be to listen, examine the facts, ask difficult questions and exercise independent judgment about what best serves our students and schools.

How I Make Decisions

The Questions I Will Ask

Before supporting a proposal, I will want to understand:

  1. 01How will it affect students and their learning?
  2. 02What will it require of our teachers and staff?
  3. 03What will it cost now and in the years ahead?
  4. 04Have we heard from the people it will affect?
  5. 05How will we know whether it is working?

Those questions apply to budgets, programs, facilities and district policies. Listening matters. So does following through.
